Commission a painting

Lily still paints commissions by hand, in watercolor, one at a time. Before you fill anything in, the two things people always ask:

The waiting list About two years It is genuinely that long, and it is not a sales tactic. Lily will tell you where you would sit on it before you commit to anything.
The price Usually $500 to $1,500 Every commission is priced individually — it depends on size, how many animals, and how much background there is. You get a figure before you decide.

Tell her what you have in mind and she will come back with a price and a realistic date. Nothing here commits you to anything.

Say if it matters — occasionally Lily can move things for an elderly pet.
Helps her suggest a size that fits rather than quoting past you.
Not required now — she will ask for good ones when your turn comes round.

No payment, no obligation. Lily reads every one of these herself.

Can’t wait about two years?

Most people can’t, which is exactly why the rest of this site exists. The portraits here are generated by a model trained on Lily’s own commissioned paintings — the same ones the reviews are for. You see three of yours free, in about a minute, and keep one from $7.49.
