Because Your Dog Deserves More Than a Thousand Photos!
You have hundreds of pictures on your phone. But somehow, none of them feel special enough to capture what your dog really means to you.
A custom watercolor portrait changes that. Hand-painted by Lily in her studio, each portrait transforms your beloved companion into a timeless work of art—the kind of tribute that families have used for generations to honor the ones they love most.
This isn’t just decoration. It’s a declaration that your dog is family, worthy of the same artistic legacy once reserved for royalty and beloved relatives. It’s a way to hold onto the soul of your companion, even as time passes.
I never set out to become a pet portrait artist. I was a watercolor painter who spent weekends at farmers markets, selling landscapes and florals to passersby. But everything changed the day I painted my childhood dog, Copper, from memory.
Copper had passed away six months earlier, and I found myself unable to look at photos without feeling overwhelmed. So I painted him instead—not from a photograph, but from the feeling of him. The way his ears flopped when he ran. The exact amber of his eyes in afternoon sunlight. The painting became something more than an image; it became a presence, a comfort, a way to hold onto love without clinging to loss.
When my neighbor saw the painting, she wept. Then she asked, “Could you do this for my Luna?”
That question became a calling. I realized I wasn’t just painting pets—I was painting love stories. Each portrait became a declaration that this bond mattered, that this soul deserved to be remembered in the same way families have honored their beloveds throughout history. I was giving people permission to grieve, to celebrate, to say out loud: “My pet is family.”
Today, every portrait I create is painted by my own hand, in my sun-filled studio, with the same intention I brought to that first painting of Copper. I work slowly, deliberately, believing that something made to honor a life should never feel rushed or mass-produced.
I paint every portrait by hand using professional watercolors on archival paper. No two paintings are exactly alike—yours is created specifically for your dog, capturing not just their appearance, but their personality and spirit.
Your portrait is painted on acid-free, archival watercolor paper that will last for generations. These aren’t prints or digital reproductions—they’re original paintings made to become family heirlooms.
Working from your favorite photos, I capture the details that make your dog unmistakably yours: the exact shade of their eyes, the way their ears sit, the expression that makes you smile every day.
Each portrait arrives carefully packaged and ready to hang or frame (depending on which option you choose), transforming any room into a gallery that celebrates the love you share.
Select the portrait size and type portrait that fits your space and vision, from intimate 5x7" pieces to statement 18x24" artworks.
Upload your favorite photo of your dog after purchase. The clearer the photo and better the lighting, the more detail I can capture—but I'll work with what matters most to you.
In my sun-filled studio, I hand-sketch your custom portrait with careful attention to every detail. Then I scan this sketch and color it in watercolor style digitally on my iPad. This process usually takes 1–2 days, because art made to honor a life should never be rushed.
Your finished portrait arrives carefully packaged, ready to become the centerpiece of your home and a conversation starter that lets you share your dog's story for years to come.
Every brushstroke is made by myself personally. No outsourcing, no assembly line. Just one artist, honoring one beloved dog at a time.
I started painting pet portraits after losing my own childhood companion. I know this isn't just about creating a pretty picture—it's about validating a profound bond and creating comfort that lasts.
Through years of experience, I have learned to see beyond the photo to the personality within. My portraits capture the essence of who your dog truly is.
This isn't an impulse buy—it's an investment in preserving love, honoring family, and creating something that will matter long after the paint has dried.
Your dog gives you unconditional love every single day. This is your chance to give something back—something permanent, something beautiful, something that says: "You matter. You're family. You're loved."

I ugly-cried when I opened the package. Lily captured not just what Bella looked like, but who she WAS. It hangs in our living room and every guest asks about it.

My sister lost her dog of 15 years and was devastated. I commissioned this portrait as a memorial gift and she called me sobbing (in a good way). She says looking at it brings comfort, not sadness. It's become the most meaningful gift I've ever given.

The way Lily captured Rex's soulful eyes... I can't even explain it. Every time I walk past it in the hallway, I stop. Just stop and look. It's like he's looking back at me with that same gentle expression he always had. Worth every single penny.

Ordered this for my wife after we said goodbye to our beagle, Daisy. She opened it on Christmas morning and completely broke down. Now it's the centerpiece of our home office. The colors are so vibrant and alive. Daisy would have been so proud to see herself looking this distinguished!

We have three dogs and got portraits of all of them. They hang together in our hallway like a family gallery. It makes me so happy every single day to see them up there, elevated to the status they deserve.

We commissioned this as a retirement gift to ourselves - a portrait of our first dog together, Murphy, who we lost 5 years ago. Having his face back in our home after all this time feels like a piece of our history has been restored. Lily somehow made him look young and spry again, exactly how we remember him in his prime.

My daughter went off to college and missed our dog terribly, so I surprised her with a portrait for her dorm room. She FaceTimed me crying saying it was the best gift she'd ever received. The artist even captured the little white patch on his chest that looks like a heart. These details matter so much...

We lost our German Shepherd, Atlas, very suddenly last year. This portrait has become part of our healing process. Our kids (ages 6 and 9) say goodnight to it before bed.
